The before view of the bathroom from the bedroom

The before view inside the bathroom to your immediate right

It was a closet, deep and narrow. This was the inside.
The after view to your immediate right; the shower has been relocated
If you look closely at the little tile, you'll see glass tiles that are a greenish beige. That is the color of the bathroom walls above the beadboard.

And now my very own idea made real by Robby Cain, contractor extraordinaire....look:
I have a secret storage space for books and extra tp or whatever. Isn't that cool? A girl thought of that, thank you very much!

The closet that was once to your immediate right in the bathroom was relocated and redesigned. It's now located after the shower, across from the toilet and it runs floor to ceiling.
There you have it! It took 6 weeks because the original painters delayed us a week and snow delayed us a week. It would have taken 4. And it's my favorite room in our house. That's saying quite a lot!
Thank you to Randy for addressing the floor plan problem; thank you to Robby and Debbie Cain for seeing to every single detail for us and leaving us with such a lovely space; and thank you to THE SOURCE (you gotta keep up, folks - that's Chef Stu's new name!) for blessing this project and making a big girl's dream of a functional space a reality.
Always looking forward (to taking a shower), PJ
