What's Up For Wednesday

MY BLOGOVERSARY CELEBRATION

Next Monday, March 1st, will mark one year since I began this blog armed with not much more than a bindle of doubt and a pocketful of anxiety. I had no idea what blogging really entailed and no resources available to me other than a few books I'd ordered from Amazon.

I logged onto blogger, followed the steps and from there I would've languished had it not been for the help of the blogging community.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the first (8) bloggers who followed me and have stuck by me since my
very slow start last year:

During my first month of blogging (March), there was Layla Palmer of
The Lettered Cottage; Taryn of The Colorado Desert; and Anita of A Wife, A Woman, A Mom.

Then in April, Cindy of
Quaint Handmade came along.

When May rolled around, Cathe Holden of
Just Something I Made introduced herself.

In June, Mary Lou (ML) from
House of Whimsy joined me.

And in July I had the pleasure of meeting both Jenny Mac of
Let's Have A Cocktail and Joanna of The Fifty Factor.

They are wonderfully creative, each in their own way, and I adore them.

In fact, I've grown to love the blogging community and now I want to do something
JUST FOR THEM.

To celebrate my blogoversary, I'm going to host a giveaway, but
this one is going to be different than my previous two.

Difference #1 - In order to enter this giveaway:

1. You have to have a blog and your email info must be readily available for contact purposes should you win.

2. You have to follow.

3. You have to leave a comment on this post before 6 pm on Sunday, February 28th.

One comment per blogger.

Easy enough, right?

Difference #2 - This time there is more than one prize:

1. The first name drawn will win a $75 - gift certificate to Amazon.com.

2. The second name drawn will win a $60 e-gift certificate to have a custom sign created for you or someone you love by Paula Small @ Castle and Cottage. She's fabulously talented, will do custom work and is very easy to work with. Go ahead, check out her stuff. I'll wait.

Difference #3 - If my follower count goes over 300, there will be a third prize, to be announced.

*Winning numbers will be generated by Random.Org

*Winners will be notified on or before Monday, March 1st by email.

*Prizes will be awarded via email on or before March 2nd.

*And, by all means, please invite your fellow bloggers to participate.

GOOD LUCK!!

(The bathroom remodel photos were posted on Monday, Feb 22.)

Always looking forward, PJ

People Who Know Me Would Say:

My Photo
I love God, my family and friends, animals and, while I know I shouldn't love "things", I love my home. I'm not fond of the color pink unless it's the work of Mother Nature (apparently not a popular opinion in 'blog land'), I DESPISE whining, I won't allow beets anywhere in my home or garden, and I don't understand why humanity can't play nice and share. -->PS. This blog is not Switzerland; I'm neutral in nothing. :)
