This session of Alphabe-Thursday will feature weekly excerpts from the book, "An Animated Alphabet", written by my late mother, nanciellen Dorler.

It is true that I don't think I wanna

hold Iggy, your pet iguana.

I won't ask you to implore me.

Make my day and just ignore me!

At the risk of sounding picky,

I think Iggy's looks are icky.

I am miles from elated

when your darling boy's inflated

and those times when Iggy's snoozing,

leaving him is what I'm choosing.

If holding Iggy wins your favor,

let another guy be brave, sir.

In no way do I adore him.

Put quite simply, I abhor him!
