This week's bleats:
1. My sister, Shirley, asked me where "The Weekly
Bleat" has been because she missed it. "I'm only
bleating about once a month", I replied. That was
followed by raucous laughter after I realized what
I'd said. (If you missed the humor, read my reply to Shirley out loud.)
2. Have you ever notice that, when it comes to scenes
on TV that show an actor writing, there are a
disproportionately high number of left-handed
actors? And, when you consider that only an
estimated 10% of people are left-handed, it becomes
a bit more interesting. Okay, interesting to me. Whatever.
The right half of the brain controls the functions of the left side of the body and visa versa.
People who rely more heavily on the right half of their brain tend to be more imaginative and intuitive. They see things as a whole and are interested in patterns, shapes and sizes. The right brain is associated with artistic ability like singing, painting, writing poetry, acting, etc.
3. I've got a drop cloth...and I'm not afraid to use it. Sorry about that. I couldn't resist being silly. Um, I do have an extra, yet-to-be-used drop cloth and I'm itching to make something out of it, but I don't know what. Any ideas for me???? Any step-by-step instructions??
4. If you're horrified, does that make you a prostitute?
5. There are a bunch of blogs out there that now have word verification to just to get into them AND another word verification to leave a comment. Gee, thanks a whole heck of a lot, people.

6. How can there be a word, "rejoice", when there isn't a "joice" to begin with? Okay, I know a lovely lady named "Joyce" :
But it's not the same.
